London

7/20
In the Victoria and Albert Museum there were many many things to see. Ancient artifacts from all parts of the world, instruments, architecture of England, the history of fashion, and so on.

I particularly enjoyed the history of fashion. As you went through, they had attire and garments from each period on manikins. I learned that Tom Ford was Gucci’s head designer until 2004.

After the V&A as its called here in London, we walked across Tower Bridge, went to City Hall and then made our way to the Tate museum of modern art. After finishing at the Tate, we walked across Millennium Bridge toward St. Paul’s.

We ended the night by going to see Harry Potter at the Empire Theatre in Leicester Square. The movie was super and it was a lot of fun to go see a movie in London. The theatre was huge and much nicer than what we typically have in the states. They even had a curtain that covered and screen which made the place classy. It was the most expensive movie ticket I have ever purchased. Tickets for adults were 13.50 in pounds. Right now the exchange rate is about $1.60 per pound so you can figure that out.

Right, some of the pics here include the Tower Bridge, City Hall, the Gerken Building, the Globe (for Shakespeare’s plays), and Millennium Bridge with St. Paul's.
